AGORA 2.0 published the first issue of the magazine Baltic Sea Breezes which was made in close cooperation with Baltic Sea Tourism Commission for tourism professionals and experts. The magazine wants to promote the Baltic Sea Region as a wonderful place for tourism. Besides articles about natural and cultural heritage or about contents of AGORA 2.0, you will also find contributions by other stakeholders, for example referring to the Baltic Sea Tourism Forum or to other projects like Parks & Benefits or Enjoy South Baltic! The basic idea of BASTIS is to provide everybody dealing with heritage tourism in the Baltic Sea region with useful market and benchmarking information, free of charge and easy to access! 28.07.2011. On April 28 the 3rd seminar on nature tourism product development was held in Svētciems, Vidzeme Region. 30.04.2011. On April 26 the 2nd seminar on nature tourism product development was held in Andrupene, Latgale Region. 05.04.2011. On March 29 the first seminar on nature tourism product development was held in Kandava, Kurzeme Region. 05.04.2011. Representatives of LFN participated in the 3rd project partners meeting in Tallinn. During the meeting valuation of the project progress and clarification of next activities were made. 23.03.2011. On 22nd and 23rd March the Baltic nature tourism conference took place in Riga to illustrate management models of protected areas adapted in Europe and the Baltic Sea Region countries to balance economic activities, including tourism, and nature conservation. On the second day of the conference there was held a workshop "Tourism as a Part of the EU Strategy for the BSR to present the first results of the AGORA 2.0 project to national and international participants. Continuing the project partners involved in activities of WP5 met to discuss the common tasks and activities. 28.05.2010. 1st seminar for nature heritage experts of Latvia in Riga, Latvia. 14.02.2010. 1st Kick-off meeting in Greifswald, Germany. By starting the new Interreg IVB project AGORA 2.0 all project partners representatives met to disscuss the project tasks, administrative and financial issues.
