Botanical Guidebook is published

At the end of the 2007 LDF has issued the Botanical Guidebook of Southeast Latvia. It is printed as a booklet for local and foreign nature travellers as well as for pupils of the Latgale Region.  

All the information is given in Latvian and English languages. It includes nature trails in Krāslava and Daugavpils regions to watch different plants. There is also information given about their blooming, detailed descriptions and plentiful pictures.

This is the first guidebook in Latvia, dedicated exactly to plants. Nature travellers and pupils are always welcome to study plants and to take pictures, but newer to pick and destroy them just because they are beautiful.

This Guidebook is issued within the frameworks of the project „Preparing of the Botanical guidebook for the Daugavpils and Krāslava districts” supported by the Latvian Nature Protection Fund.
